Becoming Cockroaches
so the winner writes the history
lie cheat steal writes the history
win at any cost they say
doesn’t matter how
doesn’t matter if you’re right
doesn’t matter who gets in your way
getting the outcome you desire
lie cheat or steal
makes you a winner
and when you’re a winner
you can do anything
even write your own version of history
another great lesson for our children
I beg to differ
with the president’s corrupt thinking
and the AG’s corrupt enabling
they’ll always be losers
except in their own weak minds
immoral character precedes them now
to everywhere
immense insecurity
makes them bully
is it tiny hands syndrome
for all these geniuses
picture two engorged ticks
lying on their backs
tiny hands flailing in space
they can’t flip over
they’re wrong side up
they keep trying
to wiggle out of their predicament
but sooner or later
their bubble bodies will burst
and after cleaning up the mess
America will be great again
so whatever ill conceived victory
they say they won
by lie cheat steal
karma is their enemy
history is their enemy
ticks are simply bloodsuckers
taking from the innocent
they have no moral spine
no conscience
only tiny hands
wiggling
and blood swollen brains
swelling
and in the end
they always lose
with a splat or a flush
so no fellas
ticks don’t write history
not with tiny wiggly hands
but they might make history
and they will be remembered by it
wrong side up
so what do ticks dream of
becoming cockroaches of course
